What is gipht.me?
gipht.me is a platform that allows you to send and receive interactive experiences - "giphts"- from your mobile device (think smartphone or tablet) to your friends' mobile devices.
What do you mean "Interactive experiences"?
Aha. Great question. Giphts are every day and special occasion messages, mementos, games, great coupons, virtual goods, collectable virtual items (and the list goes on). Basically we call giphts 'digital stuff' you use to communicate with your friends. The main thing is that once you receive a gipht you can interact with it, finally taking advantage of all the awesome features that current generation smartphones have.
So, do I have to make these giphts?
Nope. We have tons of giphts ready for you to snuggly wrap your message in. All you need to do is customize the content (write your message, add other interactive stuff you want like for example: a picture or your friend's age) and presto: Your gipht is ready to be sent.
OK! But to whom can I send those giphts?
Well, you can send a gipht to almost anyone you know as long as you have some kind of contact detail: their Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin profile or even their phone number or their e-mail account. (We're starting with Facebook and Twitter but the rest is coming up soon). We then deliver your gipht, on your friend's mobile device.
Do my friends need to have gipht.me installed on their smartphone?
Surprisingly, the answer is "No".
gipht.me will send them a notification that they have a gipht from you, they can preview it on their browser and then download gipht.me in order to open and fully experience their gipht.
Awesome! So how can i use gipht.me?
gipht.me is available for all major mobile device operating systems. We're launching on iOS and Android but Windows mobile and Bada are coming up soon after that. You only have to download the application and start exchanging giphts with your friends!
By the way, you can send giphts from any supported operating system to any other supported operating system. This means you can send a gipht from you iPhone, to a friend who has an Android and vice versa.

Nothing! It's FREE!
The application is free and most of the giphts are free. Ultimately at some point there will be some extra premium giphts that you might choose to purchase.
